KARACHI: Farhan Mehboob and Farhan Zaman pulled off impressive victories against their opponents from Hong Kong as Pakistan lifted the 18th Asian Team Squash Championship title after winning the final 2-0 in Taiwan on Sunday.

According to the information made available here, Farhan Mehboob defeated Tang Ming Hong 11-4, 11-7, 11-4 score while Farhan Zaman was stretched by Le Ho Yin Max before he prevailed 9-11, 12-10, 8-11, 11-7, 11-9.

Pakistan, who had Tayyab Aslam as the third member of the team, had defeated arch-rivals India 2-1 to qualify for the final and have now won 15 editions of the tournament.
