ISLAMABAD: The Capital Development Authority’s (CDA) annual Margalla Festival will begin on May 28 and will continue for three months.

According to a CDA spokesperson, various athletic and cultural programmes will be organised all over the city to provide residents of the federal capital with recreational facilities.

He said sports tournaments, including an inter-club football tournament, an inter-club hockey tournament, a basketball tournament, a lawn tennis tournament, and table tennis and taekwondo competitions will be held at various grounds in Islamabad.

A Ramazan floodlight inter-club cricket tournament has also been planned, in which renowned cricket clubs in the twin cities will participate.

The spokesperson said traditional games will also be organised during the festival, in addition to the aforementioned tournaments.
