THATTA: Fake PRCs, domiciles cancelled

THATTA, Nov 20: DCO Mohammad Usman Panhwar, following an one-month comprehensive inquiry, has cancelled seven fake domiciles and permanent residence certificates recently issued here.

The cancelled domiciles and PRCs were issued to Shafaq, daughter of Naseer Mohammad Khilji; Saima, daughter of Naseer Mohammad Khilji; Samina Yasmin, daughter of Ali Sher; Humera Ahmed, daughter of Noor Mohammad; Naushin, daughter of Ghulam Mohammad; Shazma, daughter of Abdul Hayee; and Ameet Kumar, son of Jai Parkash.

The DCO also assigned the deputy district officer as inquiry officer for the scrutiny of a domicile issued to Israr Ahmed. The DDO has been directed to submit his report in a week.

The Domicile Action Committee, Thatta, had detected 11 fake domiciles and PRCs issued in the district to outsiders.

BODIES FOUND: Three unidentified bodies have been handed over to the Edhi centre from various parts of Thatta district during the last 24 hours.

An old ailing man died in the Civil Hospital soon after his admission. His body was handed over to the Edhi centre for burial.
