SWABI: Four persons were killed and two allegedly committed suicide in different incidents here on Tuesday, police said.

In Kalu Khan, a man allegedly shot dead his sister. Samin Khan, another brother of the deceased, told police he and his brother were brawling with each other over tobacco sharing, when their sister came there to end the quarrel. But, he said she received a bullet from her brother, and died on the spot. Police registered case and began investigations.

In Chota Lahor, a van and a rickshaw collided near the general bus stand, killing a passer-by identified as Hanif Khan. The cause of the accident was wrong overtaking by the rickshaw driver.

An FIR was registered against both the drivers in Chota Lahor police station.

In Zaida, Hamidullah was allegedly shot dead by his brothers, Sajjid Khan and Saqib Khan, in the city market. A case was registered with the Zaida police station.

In Yar Hussain, Sharif Khan was allegedly killed by a relative, Said Karim. Wife of the deceased said her husband was on way home when Karim opened fire, killing him on the spot.

Meanwhile, a woman allegedly committed suicide by hanging herself with ceiling fan over unknown reasons in Topi city. Arshad Khan told police when family members went inside her room they found her hanging from the ceiling fan. Police registered a case and began further investigations.

In Jalbai village, Saddam Hussain shot himself dead with a pistol. The cause of the suicide was stated to be some domestic problems.

The mother of the deceased recorded her statement with Tordher police station, saying her son shot himself inside their house.
