KASUR: A man allegedly killed his wife by giving ‘electric shocks’ at Latifpura on Thursday.

According to police, a caller from Latifpura alerted them that a man had killed his wife through electric shocks over some issue.

The anonymous caller told police the dead body of Sughran Bibi, wife of Allah Ditta, was ready for burial without legal formalities.

A police team raided Allah Ditta’s house and sent the body to DHQ Hospital for autopsy.

SHO Malik Tariq said there were burns and scars on the woman’s body which had been handed over to the family.
