MURREE: A three-day exhibition of rare pictures by renowned photographer Zafar Iqbal Raheem started on Sunday at the new Murree Art Council.
The pictures capture two and a half decades of Pakistani society including art, culture, civilisation, politics, literature and the human rights situation.
The pictures include those of visiting dignitaries, of whom many are not alive anymore.
Journalists, teachers and members of the civil society attended the event and appreciated and enjoyed Mr Raheem’s pictures.
Murree Art Council Director Abrar Alam said that similar exhibitions should be organised in the future as well in order to showcase the works of little known artists.
He said this will encourage artists.
