SWABI: A man killed his son following exchange of harsh words between them on mobile phone here on Wednesday, police said.

The incident occurred in the jurisdiction Kalu Khan police station. The victim family belonged to Kalu Khan village. Registering an FIR against her father-in-law, wife of Sameeyat Kashif said that Rohul Amin had earlier exchanged hot words on mobile phone with her husband over some domestic issue.

Police said that when Amin met his son (Kashif) he beat him up badly and later hit him in the head with a big stone, killing him on the spot.

Meanwhile, DPO Javid Iqbal told mediapersons that they had traced the killers of the man whose body was recovered from a deserted well in Tandkoi village. He said that they had arrested Taj Bibi, wife of the deceased (Bakht Zada). Taj Bibi’s phone was traced which helped the police to know about two other people who were allegedly partners of the accused woman.

“We have arrested two other people as well,” he said.
