My brother, my rival

This is regarding the story “My brother, my rival” by Abdul Qayyum Junior (YW, May 28). I loved the story very much because the feelings the writer expressed in the story were true and I had gone through the same situation, that’s why I really liked reading the story.

The writer depicted the true feelings of children desperately wanting to have siblings and when they get one, they realise that the one they love the most is the one they will often have sweet rivalry with.

The story “My brother, my rival” by Abdul Qayyum Junior was wonderful. I really liked reading it. I must say that the emotions of the writer truly depicted the real situation kids go through.

It is my request to the YW team to give more space to stories that have different topics and ideas expressed in them.
