BADIN: A mother of two minor girls was axed to death by her husband on Thursday near Tando Bago town.

Keeso Kolhi, aged 23, was killed by her husband, Nagji Kolhi, in Thuhi Leghari village. Tando Bago police has arrested the accused, who confessed to have axed his wife to death.

The accused said that he killed his wife in a fit of anger due to her delay in making a cup of tea.

On the complaint of Verseen Kolhi, the murdered woman's father, the local police has registered a First Information Report (FIR), under section 302 of Pakistan Penal Code (PPC).

The father demanded a severe punishment for the culprit and vowed to uphold the FIR.

"Further investigation in to the incident is underway" SHO added.

Station House Officer (SHO) Tando Bago Mohammad Yaqoob Buriro confirmed to DawnNews that the accused has confessed the crime.
