Eidul Fitr today

ISLAMABAD, Nov 25: The Shawwal moon has been sighted in the federal capital and many other parts of the country, therefore, Eid-ul-Fitr will be celebrated on Wednesday (today).

The announcement was made by Central Ruet-i-Hilal Committee chairman Mufti Munib-ur-Rehman after receiving information from different parts of the country including Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Lahore, Multan, D.I.Khan, Chitral, Haripur, Rawalakot, Kotli, and Attock.

He said except for a few places of the NWFP, all the cities of the province will also celebrate Eid on Wednesday.—APP
