Indians should understand that "india has occupied part of pakistani state called Jammu and kashmir."it's not internal matter of india ,it's internal matter of pakistan and it's the responsibility of pakistan to take stand for its people and the land belong to them.indians should agree on plebscite in whole Jammu and Kashmir just like pakistan has agreed and solve this issue.indians should stop enjoying and celebrating the deaths of innocent and armless kashmiris.enough is enough.

got 7 out of 8 and lo and behold the one I got wrong was '' which country raised the Kashmir issue in the UN security Council in 1948 & I selected Pakistan but it turned out to be our very dear neighboring country India. I wonder why are they so allergic now when reminded about the UN security council resolutions?

My opinion under such circumstances regarding to Kashmir issue is that if we assume Jinnah and Ghandhi are now both are alive then firstly both step down from stance that made our politicians and cash on every political compain, that is "Kashmir hmari Shahrag hai"and"Kashmir Bharat ka Atot Angh hai" Then both are set on table talk and find the solution of Kashmir in such away both nations find way out from this hell.seriously !

Kargil was not a war but one of 3 border wars, 1- Rann of Kutch, 2-Siachen, 3-Kargil. And 3 major wars all directly related to kashmir. 1947, 1965, 1971. Even East Pakistan war was to divert the Kashmir isdue.

Let India and Pakistan forget Kashmir for 50 years and focus on employment and prosperity and achieve 100 percent literacy and less than 5 percent employment incl Kashmir. Once the same is achieved including in Kashmir open the borders or do a plebiscite whatever kasmiri demand

Secondly why is still Gilgit-Baltistan disputed? and if it is, then why don't they raise issue of GB along with Kashmir? People of this region are still treated like 3rd class citizens, they can't even vote for the country they are living in why?

@ahmed but brutal killings since 1931 and after indian occupation amount to nearly 100,000 innocent civilians lives,it does make a lot of jammu & kashmir.Genocide by the Indian forces of kashmiri people must be held accountable and serious concerted efforts by both sides should be made to take Valley out of misery, regardless wheater they are Pakistani or indian, they must atleast be considered human.

First let all kashmiri pandits return to Kashmir, give them their land. Then talk about holding plebscite. If some people in Indian Kashmir want to go to Pakistan, they should be immediately deported to Pakistan. What economic development India can bring in Kashmir, Pakistanis can only dream of. It will only become another terrorist haven like the the Swat valley.

Firstly Kashmir does not have 7 lakh Indian troops. India's crack combat divisions are all based on the north East. Secondly non of the martial divisions such as Sikh, Gurkha and Rajputs are located anywhere near Kashmir. Even India's mountain divisions are not located in Kashmir.

I do not think there will be any transfer of territory from either side. All these arguments are useless. The violence from any side is regrettable. Very hard for any country to compromise territorial integrity due to this type of unrest. There are many many examples with only rare exceptions.
