ISLAMABAD: The Indian foreign ministry on Friday expressed its dismay over what it called the continued attempts by Pakistan to interfere in its “internal matter”.
The statement issued by Indian Ministry of External Affairs was in response to the cabinet meeting in Pakistan, which discussed the recent incidents of violence in Kashmir including the death of Hizbul Mujahideen commander Burhan Wani.
"India completely and unequivocally rejects the decisions adopted by Cabinet of Pakistan on the situation in Jammu and Kashmir. We are dismayed at the continued attempts by Pakistan to interfere in our internal matters," reads the statement posted by Indian ministry's spokesman Vikas Swarup on his Twitter profile.
Earlier in the day, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif chaired a cabinet meeting at Governor House in which top government officials condemned the labelling of slain Hizbul Mujahideen commander Burhan Wani as a terrorist by the Indian government.
The statement adds that Pakistan or any other party has no right to speak on behalf of Kashmir and the "continued glorification of terrorists belonging to proscribe organisations makes it amply clear where Pakistan's sympathies continue to lie".
The Indian ministry also criticised the upcoming elections in Azad Jammu and Kashmir and termed the exercise as one of the attempts to by Pakistan to ingratiate itself with people of Kashmir.
Meanwhile in Pakistan, that cabinet members agreed all Pakistani embassies worldwide as well as the Foreign Office should register a protest against Indian atrocities in India-held Kashmir by submitting resolutions to the United Nations.
Members of the federal cabinet also decided to call a joint session of parliament to discuss the Kashmir issue, but a date for the session was not agreed upon, Federal Minister for Ports and Shipping Mir Hasil Khan Bizenjo told Dawn.
The government also announced that Pakistan would observe a black day over violence in Kashmir on July 19.
Wani, the Hizbul Mujahideen chief of operations, was killed in fighting last Friday after Indian troops, acting on a tip, cordoned a forested village in the southern Kashmir's Kokernag area. Two other members of Wani's group were also killed in the gun battle.

According to UNO resolution Kashmir is a disputed territory. India can not say the occupied Kashmir is their part and they are free to do anything. World will comment if they do injustice there and do give them right for self determination.

@Faiza Salman Actually, it is not a disputed territory. The UN has removed Kashmir as being a disputed territory in 2010. Talks on UN resolution etc are farcical unless Pakistan implements Points 1 and 2 of the resolution - Complete removal of tribals, regulars and Pakistan aligned forces and India to maintain a force preserve to validate complete withdrawl of pakistani intruders in Jammu & Kashmir and upon its validation , develop a plebiscite process.....none of part 1 and 2 have ever been commenced or done but always talk of Plebiscite. I suggest you read the actual resolution to familiarize yourself.

If this continues... one will succeed in the path of 'assumed land luxury', the other will completely fail in the path of same 'assumed land luxury'.

@Harmony-1© Shimla Agreement Says that both countries will respect line of control. Both parties should refrain threats or use of force. So as per That, as Jammu and Kashmir is on Indian side of LOC, hence Pakistan shoul refrain herself about the same "irrespective of mutual differences ". Please read Shimla Agreement.

For fair plebiscite, Pakistan needs to vacate the occupied territory including return of gifted away territory to Chinese. Meanwhile, India will have a continent force in Kashmir that is good enough to defend itself from aggressors. Once these things are in place, there will be a plebiscite!
If you have not read the UN resolutions please do it now! This is precisely the reason why most nations in the world barring few muslim nations have not pressed or demanded india to conduct plebiscite.
Do not simple spread hate and lies!
If you are really concerned about freedom and dignity for your brethren, we have 250 million muslims in india who are living a dignified life! Why should not kashmiries have that in if they choose to remain in India?

To all the people out there, lets clear some point.
1. Jammu Kashmir is not disputed territory. UN has removed it from disputed territory list. If Pakistan still continues to think it as disputed territory then why are you building CPEC through it.
2. UN resolution on Kashmir ask for plebiscite for whole Kashmir and first step as per resolution is withdrawal for Pakistan forces from Pakistan side of Kashmir. As Pakistan done that???
3. Any one who took arms and try to reduce peace and stability is a Terrorist and dangerous to the whole society. There is No two way about that.
4. Kashmir was with India for 1000 of year. even before king Hari Singh and even before Pakistan can into existance.

@Harmony-1© because, in 1971 when pakistan surrendered, there was a simla agreement saying that pakistan will not use its land and power to do terrorism in india and will live without firing bullets on indians. Pakistan also agreed that it will not interfere in Indian internal matters.
Pakistan has failed to live with these agreements and therefore should be punished as per the law.

Both countries do not want to resolve the Kashmir Issue. It is beneficial to both countries if the status quo remains the same. The talk/meeting etc. are just for public consumption. I have been reading the statements from both countries for more than 30 years. Whenever the leaders meet, are they saying they will discuss the Kashmir Issue? No. Please watch from now on. Both countries always say "we will discuss all issues including Kashmir". Is there any other issue between the two countries other than Kashmir?

@Sudhanshu Swami Shimla agreement states that ' Loc to remain till final settlement and that no unilateral action to change it will take place without consent of the other party'. India's intrusion into siachen broke the agreement so it is null and void. It is back to Uzn which still stands.
