RAWALPINDI: Four killed in accident

RAWALPINDI, Nov 29: Four of a family were killed early Saturday morning when their car plunged into a ravine, police officials and doctors said.

The ill-fated car (SS-39) was on its way to Murree from Faisalabad when the driver failed to negotiate a steep turn.

At the time of the accident, eight people, including three children, were in the car. Two women died on the spot, while another woman and a child died in the hospital.

Other passengers of the car are in critical condition. The deceased have been identified as Osama, Humaira, Asma Zahid and Parveen Akhtar.—Staff Reporter
