According to the team officials, the national side comprises individuals who passionately follow Manchester United.
Pakistan are scheduled to begin training on Thursday, after which they will take on Worcestershire in a two-day practice game.

These family photos of the Pakistan cricket team would have looked really very charming if they would have won the series and photos published after the series...

player of our team focus visit whenever they go abroad for playing series. My meat is not that visiting is wrong but my advise is that first focus their game and to continue practice and exercise then to give time other activities.

Had our cricket stars put more energy in training instead of pleasure they might win a World Cup for their country.

This is what you get to do when you lose by 300 runs in a Test game.. Way to go, Team Green!
Wish they bring Mourinho's resilience and unbelievable desire to Pakistan cricket camp... That may actually help!

I hate to say this, but having families around and excursions should not be allowed for Pakistani sprotsmen. These are not vacations. They are there for a single purpose, and single purpose alone. They should not be distracted one iota from focusing entirely on the job at hand.

If having family around is so bad all teams must be losing home games, no? Most people have family around as they are away for months at a time. There's a psychological negative effect and players do experience depression. Want them to know what they are playing for, then let those important people be around.

Judging by the dressing sense of our cricketers, they look like typical pindi boys! At least Misbah should have worn a better jeans, in my humble opinion.

@Yawar .,
Pls. be little humble and show yr 'Family Vision'....and 'Family Values'...
This is not a "War-Front", it's a game, recreation, enjoyment for the players and their families...
Cricket is their business right, so pls. do not mix business with domestic and family requirements.
Good Luck to the players and their families.. Have a nice trip fellows....

For all those people who are saying families shouldn't go. Cricket is not a matter of life and death. It's a sport, so let them have fun. It's a commercial product these days and you have a choice to use it for your entertainment or not. Use your remote.

These pictures clearly show why Hafeez, Azhar and Wahab are still in the team. Friendship with the captain and the manager otherwise they do not deserve a place in the team. Sami Aslam, Mohd Rizwan and Imran Khan should replace them. They cant perform worse than the other three.

I just don't understand this hate for a day out with the families. It always helps to take your mind off of things especially when they are not going your way and start afresh. If they have taken a day off, what is the big deal? I am assuming they are not under house arrest? So plz get off of your high horse and let them breathe.

@babar They play cricket all year so if they are not allowed to take their family with them that their wives and children should suffer most of the time so their father can make the country proud. Family is also important my friend. Imagine yourself in their shoes.

@Yawar Are you saying having families for those playing on home ground makes them worse? This is a business, and like other businesses most people get to go home and relax with family, but not these players. I'd recommend they take families more often so they know what it is they are playing for.

Schools in Pakistan have opened up after the vacation, shouldn't these kids be back in the school, no discipline in the families so no discipline in the team. The team does not look even little bit down after the pathetic performance.

Ya. For months they should remain away from their families and keep remembering them during batting/fielding losing more concentration. Why Australian, Newzealanders etc perform well when they take along their wives/girl friends to other countries and yet perform well.It is pschologically beneficial if they are with their kith and kin.
