Bandits strike four times in Kasur

KASUR, Dec 1: Armed bandits looted 160 bags of cotton yarn, cash and took away a car and a motorcycle in four different strikes in the district during the last 24 hours.

Unidentified dacoits entered the sizing factory of Haji Muhammad Farooq on Haji Fareed Road in Kasur. The dacoits held the owner and the watchman hostage, loaded 160 bags of cotton yarn worth thousands of rupees in a truck and escaped.

Three armed robbers snatched a car (LOS-7505), Rs2,500 in cash and a cell phone from Malik Younas on Balokey Morr, Phoolnagar.

Armed highwaymen deprived Muhammad Irshad of his motorcycle in Basti Noor Shah Wali, Kasur Sadar.

Muhammad Yasin along with his five accomplices entered the shop of Sakhawat Ali at Chunian and tortured him badly. Later, they escaped after collecting Rs30,000 in cash and a gold chain.

Police have registered separate cases.
