KARACHI: Soneri Bank Ltd posted a profit-after-tax of Rs1.175 billion for the half year ended on June 30, 2016, registering an increase of 6.13 per cent over the same period last year, said a press release on Tuesday.

The bank’s board at its 150th meeting on Tuesday approved the half yearly fina­ncial statements. Depo­sits grew by 9.18pc to Rs202bn. Net advances rose by 3.47pc to Rs115bn. The bank’s net assets (including surplus) stood at Rs18bn as of June 30, 2016.
