GUJRAT/SIALKOT: The Higher Education Commission of Pakistan (HEC) has approved Lahore and Sialkot sub-campuses of University of Gujrat (UoG).

No Objection Certificates (NOCs) were issued each to Lahore and Sialkot sub-campuses which had been established under public-private partnership initiative endorsed by the HEC.

Director Lahore Campus Farooq Baloch and Director Sialkot Campus Rehan Younus met UoG Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr Ziaul Qayyum and congratulated him.

The NOC letter issued by the HEC allows the Lahore and Sialkot campuses to imparting education in computing and information technology, administrative and management sciences, social sciences through their faculties/schools.Chief Executive UoG Sialkot Campus Rehan Younus told newsmen that the university had further strengthened its ties with society by this achievement.

“The establishment of UoG campuses in various cities is a proof that the youth have a complete trust in standard and quality of education maintained by the UoG at its campuses,” VC Dr Zia said.

He asked the management of UoG Sialkot Campus to provide best facilities to students.
