No park in Daska city

Published August 24, 2016

SIALKOT: Daska is not a small city; its population is around one million, according to officials.

For such a huge population, there is not a single recreational park in the city. People have criticised the Tehsil Municipal Administration and elected representatives for not showing their interest in establishing a recreational park in the city. In the absence of any recreational spot, local people have to go to Sialkot, Gujranwala and Lahore for recreation.

They have urged Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif, Commissioner retired Capt Muhammad Asif and DCO Dr Asif Tufail to ensure early establishment of a park in the Daska city.
