“My father was a jeweller, but after some losses he had to close his shop and my brother and I had to share the burden of running the family business.

When I cleared my matriculation exams, I had big dreams – but all those dreams remained dreams. The reality is very different. Right now, I’m working as a salesman at an artificial jewellery shop and I’m aiming to have my own shop. I’m struggling for it too.

Being a salesman at a jewellery shop has its own charm. You should know all about the latest fashion trends in the market. Many customers are inspired by television or film characters, so they demand the kind of jewellery used by movie stars as well. This might be the reason many female customers spend a lot of time selecting a piece of jewellery. Sometimes, we’re unable to read their minds or get what they are actually demanding.”
