LAHORE: The Punjab Council of Arts under the National Action Plan will hold an exhibition of paintings by renowned artists of Punjab at Quetta on Aug 29.

The exhibition will continue till Sept 4 at Balochistan University of Information Technology, Engineering and Management Sciences.

The renowned artists whose work would be on display at the exhibition include Mian Ijazul Hasan, Ghulam Rasool, Saeed Akhtar, Khalid Iqbal, Saleema Hashmi, Anna Molka Ahmed and Rahat Naveed.

In Lahore too, an exhibition of paintings by artist Jannisar Ali will open at Hamail Art Gallery on M.M Alam Road on Aug 31.

The artist will put on display his new collection of works at the art show which will continue till Sept 7.
