KARACHI: The 25th Karachi Club Pakistan ITF Seniors world ranking tennis championship will be held here from Sept 30, 2016.

Pakistan Seniors Tennis Association ( PSTA) will be organising the event and Karachi Club is the sponsor of this prestigious seniors world ranking Championship, International Tennis Federation has appointed Khalid Rehmani for this world ranking event while Asad Ali Bhagat is the tournament director,

Categories to be contested include Seniors-35, 45, 55 , 60 & 65-plus singles and doubles. Besides, in order to promote juniors tennis, the organizers have added four juniors event in the championships which will be Juniors 17 , 13, and 9 singles besides girls-17 singles.

All foreign players will get free hospitality during the championship week while Pakistan’s outstation players will get Rs. 700 as daily allowance and economy class railway fare both ways.

Last date of on line entry for ITF seniors through www.itftennis/ipin is Sept 14. It is mandatory to acquire International players identification number (ipin) from International Tennis Federation in order to participate in any ITF world ranking championship. Those senior players who have ipin must pay 2016 fee on line to ITF to become eligible to participate in the tournament.
