I remember growing up in an army cantonment area every year on Defence Day there were shows organized. Its sad how today a lot of our young generation don't get to see this due to the state of security in the country.

This is a proud day for me, not only as a Pakistani, but also because I am a son of an army officer who fought in the 1965 war, stationed in Sailkot, a Captain back then in an Armor regiment, who also went on to fight in the 71 war, stationed again in Sailkot but this time as 2nd in command. May GOD bless our Jawans and officers, men and women. Pakistan Zindabad

This is nice but Pakistani leaders must develop the understanding that a nation is strong when its people are content with what they have and human rights are upheld for everyone including women and minorities. A nation is considered strong when its people have good health care, high class education system, good job opportunities, and equal justice for all.
Most people don't have clean drinking water, average life expectancy is about 59 years, major cities get flooded with a small amount of rain. No sewage system is developed even in major cities. Women get harassed left and right. minorities are considered unequal.
Showing other people guns and nuclear Bombs will never make a nation look strong. People having just basic facilities such as listed above would definitely make pakistan look attractive.
