LAHORE: The Oman U-18 hockey team arrived here on Thursday to play four matches against Pakistan at the Nati­onal Hockey Stadium. The first match is scheduled to be played on Friday.

Both the teams are preparing themselves for the Asia Cup to be held in Dhaka, Bangladesh from Sept 24.

Meanwhile, the Pakistan Hockey Federation has also announced the U-18 team for the series against Oman.

Half-back Junaid Manzoor is named as captain while Moin Shakeel is named his deputy. The second and fourth matches will be played under the floodlights while first and third matches will be held in day time.

The second, third and fourth matches will be held on Sept 17, 19 and 20 with the matches to be played under floodlights will start at 8pm while the day-time matches are scheduled to start at 4.30pm.
