KARACHI: The pair of Mohammad Asif and Babar Masih made amends when they thumped Iran 3-1 in the final to win the 15-Reds snooker team title in the inaugural Asian Billiards Sports Championship at Fujairah on Friday.
According to results available here, the duo conjured up an emphatic 88-40, 76-14, 20-76, 74-15 victory over Iran to annex one of the many titles that were at stake in the event.
Earlier, Pakistan carved out 3-2 victory over India in the semi-finals the scores being 44-61, 46-59, 66-53, 79-36, 72-39.
