ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Tennis Federation (PTF) on Friday announced the names of 13 coaches who have passed the second PSB PTF Pre-ITF Level I green badge coaching course held in Lahore last month.

The four-day course was sponsored by the Pakistan Sports Board and was organised by the Punjab Lawn Tennis Association under the auspices of the PTF, said a press release issued here.

As many as 35 coaches from across different cities of the country attended the course out of which 13 passed the examinations and earned national green badge status.

The coaches who passed the course include Ahmed Babar, Asif Riaz, Ebad Sarwar, Humayun Pervez, Jibran-ul-Haq, Qasim Gul, Mubashir Shaheen, Mohammad Shahbaz, Mohammad Shahid, Nausher Ali, Sajjad Rasool, Tayyab Iftikhar and Usman Rafiq.

The course was conducted by Kamran Khalil (ITF Level III tutor coach) and Nasrullah Rana (renowned national physical trainer) while Sara Mansoor (Pakistan’s qualified ITF coach) assisted them.

Mohammad Khalid Rehmani (secretary PTF and ITF qualified coach) and Shahid Islam (deputy director academic PSB) were the guest speakers.

Mohammad Fahim Siddiqui was the course director.
