PESHAWAR: Pakistan Red Crescent Junior Boys and Girls Age Group Squash Championship got under way on Thursday here at the PAF Hashim Khan Squash Complex.

More than121 players in four boys’—U-11, U-13, U15 and U17—and one girls’—U-15—categories are vying in the event.

Pakistan Red Crescent (PRC) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa branch secretary Syed Ali Hassan was the chief guest on the occasion while Pakistan Squash Federation (PSF) vice-president Qamar Zaman and Deputy Secretary Operation Dr Rafiullah Bangash among others were in attendance.

The PSF vice-president said that all facilities would be provided to players during the event, adding that a session was also organized to make children aware about affairs of the PRC.
