Yasir Shah gets 100th wicket as Pakistan dismiss Windies for 357 in first day-night Test

West Indies, resuming at 315-6, were dismissed for 357 on the fourth day of the day-night Test against Pakistan in Dubai on Sunday.
Leg-spinner Yasir Shah took 5-121, becoming the second joint-fastest bowler to complete 100 wickets in all Test cricket.
England's right-arm medium-pacer George Lohmann reached 100 Test wickets in just 16 Test matches in 1896 which still is a world record in Test cricket's 140-year-old history.
Australia's Charlie Turner and Clarrie Grimmett and England's Sydney Barnes each got to the milestone in their 17th Test.
Pakistan had made 579-3 declared in their first innings but despite taking a lead of 222 they did not enforce follow-on and will bat again.
The three match series will continue in Abu Dhabi (October 21-25) and Sharjah (October 30-November 3).

It is a great effort from Yassir Shah but he could gain greater success if he is able to bowl a wrong one - his bowling is predictable at most times just turning one way but moving the other way will create doubts in a batsman as to which way he should play the ball. I believe Yassir Shah should bowl round the wicket instead going over the wicket no matter whether it is a left or right handed batsman

And after a real shock followed. The forever inconsistent Pakistan batting was taken out for a meager total. At one time 6 wickets fell for just 11 runs.

He got his 100...now he can't get a wicket in second innings. I recall when he claimed #1 bowler spot after the first test in England earlier this year he became sub-par for the remaining tests. It should be all about the team, not individual accolades

Well good on Yashir ...but what happen to this mighy performance from Azhar ...out on 2 for the 2nd innings and the rest of batting line crumble like dropping bananas...long way to go for Pakistan to be consistent in every format of both ODI &TEST....

Great first inning score by Pakistan but second innings I fail to understand what happened. If West Indies stay steady or Pakistan bowling is effective both ways will be exciting. If Pakistan had enforced follow on who knows this test match might have wrapped up in 4 days.
