The Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) on Tuesday arrested two suspected militants for distributing Daesh pamphlets in Peshawar's Palosi area.
According to the CTD, the two suspects Muhammad Izhar and Abdul Kabir were caught red-handed by CTD officials while distributing pamphlets. Two accomplices were able to flee.
The CTD recovered Daesh pamphlets from the possession of the suspects that contained messages in Urdu and Pashto.
Cases have been registered against the two under the Anti-Terrorism Act and the CTD has shifted both suspects to an undisclosed location for interrogation, the CTD said.
