Pakistan International Airlines on Thursday said it was investigating reports of rowdy behaviour by airline staff at a Paris hotel.

At least eight crew members of the national flag carrier who were on flight from Paris to Islamabad a day earlier allegedly misbehaved at a hotel in Paris on Wednesday night, sources told DawnNews.

The officials approached the lobby of their hotel accommodation in Paris where they misbehaved with waiters and created a mess, according to reports. Hotel management asked PIA to ensure no such incident arises in the future.

PIA management took notice of the reports and ordered an inquiry into the incident.

"Chairman and CEO PIA have taken strict notice of the matter and ordered inquiry into the incident," said a statement issued by the national flag carrier service. "Severe action will be taken against those found guilty."
