Dwayne Johnson in Jumanji

Actor Kevin Hart has taken to social media to share the first look at his upcoming film Jumanji alongside cast-mates Dwayne Johnson, Jack Black and Karen Gillan.

“Day 1 of shooting Jumanji is officially in the can. We had an amazing first day,” the comedian wrote on his Instagram.

The film, which derives from the original 1995 actioner starring Robin Williams, is set to be directed by Jake Kasdan and also stars Nick Jonas. Recently, Johnson explained that this new Jumanji is not a reboot, but rather a sequel that will continue the story.

“As a producer on this movie and someone who

loves the original, you have my word we’ll honour the legend of (Williams’ character) Alan Parrish and properly introduce a whole new generation to the fun and crazy Jumanji universe that so many of us loved and grew up on.”

Jumanji is set to arrive in theatres July 28, 2017.

Say goodbye to Wolverine!

Hugh Jackman is saying goodbye to 16 years of playing Wolverine, the metal-clawed superhero. The 47-year-old Aussie action star was cast as Logan in the 2000 original X Men movie after Irish actor Stuart Townsend dropped out at the last minute.

Next year will see Hugh don his adamantium claws one final time in the third Wolverine solo outing directed by 2013’s director James Mangold, but it was original X Men director Bryan who got Hugh’s special thanks.

The as-yet-untitled final Wolverine film is due for release in March next year and is to be a sequel to this years’ X-Men: Apocalypse, with diabolical villain Mr Sinister set to be Wolverine’s antagonist.
