A very low fat French toast recipe that you can cook up in minutes without even troubling mummy!
INGREDIENTS
• 2 Slices of bread, cubed
• 1 egg
• 1 tbs of butter, melted
• 1 tbsp of sugar
• 2 tbs of milk
• 1/4 tsp vanilla essence
Method:
• Cut the slices of bread into small pieces.
• Place butter in microwave for about 30 seconds to melt, and then coat the sides of your bowl to prevent sticking.
• Whisk the egg in the bowl, then add milk, sugar and vanilla essence. Mix well.
• Add the cubed bread to the mixture. Toss it well to soak all sides and leave it for a minute.
• Microwave on high for about two minutes, until the egg is completely cooked. Top with chocolate syrup.
• You can also use chopped nuts, honey or jam for topping to get a different flavour
each time.
