ISLAMABAD: An army officer lost his life and another was seriously injured in an unfortunate incident on the motorway on Saturday night.
According to ISPR, Lt Col Shahid died and Maj Jalal got seriously injured in the incident.
The officers were returning to Nowshera from Rawalpindi in a military convoy at about 8pm when they found the route blocked with containers. Both of them got down from vehicles and were walking in the dark to find an alternative route for the convoy when they fell from the road’s edge into a ditch near Hazro.
