PESHAWAR: Around 900 internally displaced families have been repatriated to their homes in different areas of Orakzai Agency.

In a statement issued here on Tuesday, the Frontier Corps said that the IDPs belonged to Bizote, Utmankhel and Ferozkhel tribes of Lower Orakzai. They were taken to their native areas in Adanna Khulla, Ublan, Sara Mela and Pito Mela.

The statement said that rehabilitation activities in the militancy-affected areas were in progress. It said that Orakzai Scouts had established registration point at Chaman Janna where all facilities were provided to the returning IDPs.
