KARACHI: Contingents of police and Rangers rushed to a spot on I.I. Chundrigar Road on Friday noon after receiving information from a caller about blowing up of the multi-story building of State Life, which also houses the head office of United Bank Ltd, according to officials.

The call triggered panic, resultantly, the busy road was closed for traffic for a considerable period of time, but later on it turned out to be a hoax call.
