SUKKUR: The Board of Intermediate & Secondary Education (BISE) Sukkur announced the results of first year annual examinations of pre-medical, pre-engineering, humanities, commerce and home economics groups on Saturday.

In pre-medical, a total of 1,7640 candidates appeared in the exam. Of them 13,390 passed in six papers, 2,602 in five, 906 in four, 545 in three, 118 in two and 40 candidates in one paper.

In pre-engineering exam, 14,837 candidates appeared. Out of them 10,606 candidates passed in six papers, 2,703 in five, 1,065 in four, 337 in three, 68 in two and 22 candidates were passed in one paper.

In humanities group, 4,771 candidates appeared in the examination. Of them, 3,210 candidates passed in six papers, 1,227 in five, 204 in four, 47 in three, 23 in two papers and 24 in one paper.

In commerce group, total 328 candidates took part in the examination. Of them 203 candidates passed in seven papers, 63 in six, 33 in five, 25 in four and 3 candidates in three papers.

In home economics group, 30 candidates appeared in the exams. Out of them, 22 candidates passed in seven papers, four in six, two in four and two candidates in three papers.
