LAHORE: Polio-hit Pakistani bodybuilder Naveed Butt will be returning home on Wednesday with the third Mr Olympia gold medal he won last week in Las Vegas.

Naveed, who now possesses four gold medals, is the only Pakistani bodybuilder who despite his disability won the title for a record third time; with his fourth gold medal being won at the World Championships.

Having Arnold Schwarzenegger record of seven titles in mind, Naveed is making efforts to match up to Schwarzenegger’s performance.

It is learnt that Naveed who has been struggling to overcome his financial problems went to Las Vegas after taking loan to participate in the said event.

Nonetheless, he harbours hopes that federal and Punjab governments will finally pay attention to his financial woes by helping him for his remarkable performances.
