Stage actor Kismat Baig who was shot eight times by unidentified gunmen in Lahore died on Thursday evening, reported DawnNews.

Kismat Baig was moved to the emergency ward at Services Hospital after the incident, said Superintendent Police Tahir Rehman.

The actor was travelling with her driver and personal assistant, both of whom also sustained gunshot wounds.

The SP said that Baig's relatives claim the case is one of personal enmity, but have not registered a First Information Report (FIR) yet.

He added that the the stage actor had previously been shot at twice allegedly by the same people.
