The Greater Iqbal Park is a project by the Lahore Development Authority (LDA), which was inaugurated on November 9 to turn the area between Iqbal Park and Badshahi Mosque into a theme park
The park is now open for public to visit.
For the first time, the newly built Greater Iqbal Park also hosted the Chrysanthemum Flowers Show on Friday. The venue of show has been shifted from Jilani Park for the first time.
Greater Iqbal Park also serves as a new place for citizens of Lahore to visit and hold picnics and enjoy the waterfalls, fountains and majestic scenes.
Many visitors come to the park to take pictures of beautiful moving fountains installed with colour lights at Greater Iqbal Park.

Seeing all this it feels like that Karachi is being neglected and not a part of Nawaz Sharif's plan of
development. The development is confined to Lahore.

Nice but at what price? Most of the projects in Pujab are over the top and in a handful of areas. There is more focus on shock and awe and less on basic areas of governance including reforms in education, health, police and patwari system.

Lovely park, great work. It appears that Lahore gets more than the more populous Karachi

as a Karachite, I would have loved the photos, had it not been for the garbage that accumulates on Karachi streets. had it not been for the majority of revenue genenrated in Karachi used for all this.

@Muslim medina Do you know what provincial government means? If the provincial government under Shahbaz Sharif is spending on their province why don't you ask the provincial government in Sind to spend on your behalf? Why do people in Sind vote for MQM and such parties that do nothing and complain when cities in Punjab like Sialkot or Lahore or Faisalabad are improving? It makes no sense Make them all better by voting in people who work for the provinces like Shahbaz Sharif.
