Johnny Depp tops Forbes list of most overpaid Hollywood actors

Johnny Depp is Hollywood’s most overpaid actor for the second year in a row, according to Forbes.

The Pirates of the Caribbean star topped the list following his box office flop Alice Through The Looking Glass, the magazine said.

Depp brought in just $2.80 at the box office for every dollar he was paid for his last three films before June. The magazine discounted animated films from the list, as well as movies where actors had an insignificant role or where they were released in fewer than 2,000 cinemas.

While Will Smith ranked second on the Forbes list, returning just $5 for every dollar he earned following the release of Concussion and Focus.

Depp is set to appear in another big budget film, Pirates Of The Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales, which is due to be released in May.

Who is waiting for the Pooh movie?

The live action Winnie The Pooh movie has finally found its director. The man who directed World War Z, that is Marc Forster, is now hired by Disney to direct the Winnie the Pooh movie, which is now titled Christopher Robin.

And the plot will go with the very familiar Christopher Robin as a young boy who enjoyed spending time with the denizens of the 100 Acre Wood, this movie will follow him as an adult, and by this point he’s ‘grown out of the joyful imagination’ he had when he was young and is prioritising his work as a businessman over his wife and daughter. Just as Christopher’s home life starts to hit a breaking point, Winnie the Pooh pops back into his life to get his help with finding his friends. We’ll see how the magic in Christopher’slife is reignited when Pooh reunites with him, even if Christopher is bothered by the little bear’s presence at first.
