Imran Khan performs groundbreaking of Shaukat Khanum hospital in Karachi

Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf chairman Imran Khan performed the groundbreaking of Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital and Research Centre at DHA City Karachi on Thursday.
Addressing the groundbreaking ceremony, he said approximately 75 per cent patients were treated at the Shaukat Khanum hospital without any charges.
He guessed that around 90 per cent patients in the country could not get the treatment of cancer ailment because it is so costly.
Imran Khan said that Pakistan was created as an Islamic Welfare State but we had diverted from the same path.

There could be no greater love and tribute for Imran Khan's mother than building cancer hospitals in her name by her beloved son. These are world class hospitals providing "free" treatment to poor patients.

Absolutely brilliant, These necessities are very much required NOT metro bus we need Schools, Colleges, Universities, Hospitals health care for poor and needy rich can fly over to UK and poor will die as usual if there are no facilities to treat them.

Establishing ShaukatKhanum Hospital for cancer patient in Karachi is great service to people of urban and rural Sindh and poor cancer patients keep Musafirkhana for attendants and relatives as part of their healthy stay and develop health education and patient education centre attached to it. a sub centre be opened at Tharparkar at Mithi for screening
care and research cost of care be 75 percent free but 90 percent free as poverty in rural Sindh and per capita income in rural Sindh is half than big cities like Karachi Prevention of cancer be also put into practice and telemedicine for cancer diseases be launched Tobacco is known carcinogenic and arsenic in water is also known carcinogenic prevention be focused on thesis risk factors and highlighted in every day health care activities and by media also
