Young World

Young World magazine has inspired me a lot over the years. It has always given me a great deal of joy, knowledge and so much more. I would like to show my appreciation for the entire team and the tremendous work they do, especially the publication of Spelling Bee winners’ list and the competition details.

No doubt the Spelling Bee competition has inspired many students, and over the years many have benefited from taking part in this competition.

Thanks for publishing an amazing magazine every week.

Wonder crafts

This regarding the wonder crafts “Make dandelions from yarn” by Asif Ali (YW, December 10). It was an interesting craft and I loved making it. The writer nicely illustrated the steps so it become very easy to make it at home without much help from the elders.

I really appreciate this section and would love to make more interesting crafts like this.

“Make dandelions from yarn” by Asif Ali was a very beautiful craft. It was simple, but looked very nice and is great for decorating one’s home. I love making flowers so I would request the writer to make more flower crafts.

The thing I like about this section is that most of the times the supplies are easily available at our home, which doesn’t add to our budget. This is why I love YW, as it provides everything of interest to us in one place.

The weird world of colours

This is regarding the article “The weird world of colours” by Fida Hussain (YW, December 3, 2016). I was surprised to know how each and every colour influences humans.

Colours have the language of silence which echoes inside us and the brain has its own weird response. So we should embrace all the beautiful colours equally, because all have the potential to turn a life around.

Pizza in a mug

This is with reference to the Cook-it-yourself recipe “Pizza in a mug” by Aamnah Arshad (YW, December 17). I want to thank the writer for coming up with such a wonderful and easy recipe for kids. We have made the other sweet stuff whose recipes have appeared in this section, but this one made my day.

I would suggest to the writer to come up with munchkins, and chicken and vegetable pastries, and we love to try these recipes.
