PTI Chairman Imran Khan on Saturday expressed disappointment over former Chief Justice Zaheer Jamali’s decision to delay the Panamagate case hearing and proceed on vacation instead.

Welcoming the formation of a new bench, Imran Khan said he wishes the new bench will wrap up the case as soon as possible.

The Panama case hearing is set to resume on January 4.

“We will accept the final decision made by the Supreme Court,” he said, adding that the judiciary is the only institution left that people were looking forward to.

On Dec 7, the court had to adjourn proceedings on the Panamagate case to the first week of January because the former chief justice was reaching superannuation on Dec 30.
