LAHORE: The Pakistan volleyball team will participate in all the forthcoming Asian tournaments ranging from Youth U-18, U-20, U-23 to senior category.

The team will feature in the upcoming 4th Islamic Solidarity Games in Baku, Azherbaijan from May 12 to 22 and in the Asian Senior Men’s Championship in Indonesia from July 24 to August 1, Chairman Pakistan Volleyball Federation Chaudhry Mohammad Yaqoob said.

The national training camp for both events will be held in Islamabad next month.

Yaqoob said the Pakistan U-23 team will also feature in the Asian U-23 Championships in Iran from May 1 to 9, for which a training camp was already in progress in Peshawar. Twenty players were attending the camp, he added.

The chairman said that the national U-23 championships will also be held in last week of February.
