KARACHI: Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarian chief and former president Asif Zardari has directed Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah to improve his working relationship with opposition parliamentary parties, it emerged on Sunday.
Sources said that Mr Zardari, who met the CM in Dubai, also asked him to expedite the pace of development work in the province.
He advised him to consult legal experts before appointing PPP’s provincial lawmakers as coordinators and parliamentary secretaries.
The sources said that during the meeting the CM briefed the former president on the overall political and law and order situation in the province, the performance of the Sindh government regarding implementation of development projects.
The performance of provincial ministers and the recent resignations of special assistants and advisers after the judgement of the Sindh High Court also came under discussion.
The sources said that a possible reshuffle in the Sindh cabinet by replacing certain ministers whose performance was unsatisfactory and induction of new cabinet members was also discussed.
