Pakistan's blind cricket team on Wednesday set the world record for the highest total posted in a T20 match.

During a blind T20 World Championship match against West Indies, Pakistan set the opposing team a mammoth total of 373 runs for the loss of only four wickets.

Openers Muhammad Jamil and Riasat Khan jointly scored 122 runs in the first six overs of the match, setting the tone for the innings.

Jamil was unstoppable, retiring to the pavilion after scoring exactly 100 runs off 36 balls, sharing the 2nd fastest century record in T20 Internationals.

He hit 20 boundaries in his innings.

Yesterday's centurion, Riasat Khan, was run out after scoring 94 off 32 balls.

Muhammad Zafar and Mohsin Khan contributed with unbeaten scores of 42 and 36 runs, respectively.

West Indies bowlers Ganesh Singh and Anthony Cummins claimed one wicket apiece.

In reply, West Indies managed 191 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in the allotted 20 overs.

Dennal Shim was the highest scorer with 59 runs, while Phillips contributed 36 runs.

Pakistan bowlers Sajid Nawaz, Riasat Khan, Muhammad Akram, Anees Javed and Mohsin Khan all claimed one wicket each.

Jamil bagged the Man of the Match award for his ton.

Pakistan will play its last league match versus Australia on Feb 9.
