Anne Hathaway controls a giant monster in trailer for Colossal

The Princess Diaries actor Anne Hathaway will soon be seen controlling the giant city crushing monster in the upcoming Colossal action-comedy movie.

The clip, released last week, features Hathaway as Gloria, a woman shocked to discover that she shares a special bound with a towering creature who suddenly appeared to destroy Seoul, South Korea.

Unable to fight her weird feeling, Gloria learns that she can control the beast and his movements while viewing the live-footage of the attack being broadcast on the news.

Wanting to display her powers to her friends, Gloria has the monster dance much to the surprise of Jason Sudeikis, who joins Hathaway in the film.

“A woman discovers that severe catastrophic events are somehow connected to the mental breakdown from which she’s suffering,” reads the official synopsis. Colossal arrives in theatres April 7.

Power Rangers introduces Zordon

Power Rangers released a new trailer recently that introduces the superheroes’ mentor Zordon.

The preview sees the rangers — Red (Dacre Montgomery), Pink (Naomi Scott), Blue (RJ Cyler), Yellow (Becky G) and Black (Ludi Lin) — master their powers with Zordon’s help and take on the villain Rita Repulsa (Elizabeth Banks).

Power Rangers is based on the television series Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, which was previously adapted for film in the 1990s. Cranston voiced Snizzard and Twin Man during the first season of the TV show.

“It’s a completely re-imagined retelling of this story. It’s very real. The kids are strong actors, they’re fun,” the star lauded. “I’m excited.” The actor said.
