LAHORE: The Lahore High Court Administration Committee on Saturday suspended 37 judicial officers of district judiciary and also approved initiation of regular disciplinary inquiry into their conduct.

A meeting of the committee headed by Chief Justice Syed Mansoor Ali Shah also approved revamp of Member Inspection Team (MIT) section of the LHC, says a release issued by the high court public relations officer.

The meeting also decided to improve syllabus for the examination held for recruitment of additional district & sessions judges and civil judges in order to bring it on a par with the Central Superior Service (CSS) exam.

A committee of judges under the supervision of senior puisne judge, Justice Shahid Hameed Dar, has been constituted. It would furnish its recommendations to the chief justice before the announcement of the examination for the judicial officers.
