Peshawar Zalmi captain Darren Sammy, who led his team to the final of Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2017, in a video shared on Twitter said that if the team wins the final, "everybody will shave their heads".

The video emerged on social media and has gone viral, adding to the hype preceding tonight's deciding match being held in Lahore. The Peshawar Zalmi will be facing Quetta Gladiators, finalists in the tournament for the second consecutive time.

Sammy says in his video, "[If] Peshawar wins the finals, everybody [will] shave their heads.... even the boss."

The Peshawar Zalmi skipper asked team owner Javed Afridi to also participate in the bet, but Afridi did not seem too enthusiastic about the idea.

Sammy, however, seems persistent as he told Javed Afridi in a tweet to "bring the shaver [as] it's clipper time tonight".

The team's batting coach and mentor Younis Khan was also seen in the video.

Sammy, who led the West Indies twice to the T20 World Cup titles, is hopeful to win the final against last year's finalists Quetta Gladiators tonight and revealed his strategy for the big game.

"We enjoy playing our cricket and the players we have in the dressing room are equally capable to play against any team and we believe in ourselves. T20 is always about executing the plans well and that’s what we do as a team."
