SUKKUR: The Sukkur Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) issued on Wednesday the schedule for annual examinations of the secondary school certificate part-I and II (Class-IX and X) in affiliated high schools of Sukkur, Ghotki, Khairpur and Naushehro Feroze district.

According to a handout, the examinations will start from March 28 and conclude on April 8 in which a total of 102,642 girls and boys will take part.

The first paper of English-I would be held on March 28, English-II on the 29th, biology, computer science and general mathematics on 30th, physics, economics and Islamic history on 31st, chemistry and general science on April 1, mathematics of science group and civics on April 3, Islamiat, Ikhlaqiat on 5th, Sindhi compulsory, Urdu-I compulsory, geography of Pakistan-I on 7th and Pakistan studies on the 8th.

BISE controller of examinations Abdul Sami Soomro said that 211 examination centres would be set up, out of which 24 would be in Ghotki, 79 in Khairpur, 55 in Naushehro Feroze and 43 in Sukkur.

The board had asked police and district administration to stop movement of people other than authorised students at the examination centres and appealed to Sepco authorities not to carry out load-shedding during examinations, said the handout.
