Iran has imposed sanctions on 15 US companies for alleged human rights violations and cooperating with Israel, the state news agency IRNA reported on Sunday.
The agency quoted Iran's foreign ministry as saying the companies had "flagrantly violated human rights" and cooperated with Israel against the Palestinians.
It was not immediately clear if any of the companies, which included defence technology firm Raytheon, had any dealings with Iran or whether they would be affected in any way by Tehran's action, which IRNA said would include seizure of their assets and a ban on contacts with them.
The Iranian move came two days after the United States imposed sanctions on 30 foreign companies or individuals for transferring sensitive technology to Iran for its missile program, or for violating export controls on Iran, North Korea and Syria.

I am with the Iranians on this. I am not shiat, but I have a lot more respect for the Iranians than for the Gulf sunni Arabs. Just consider all the violence caused by the Saudis, Qatari, Emiratis and Bahrain in and around the Gulf, Iraq, Syria, Libya and Yemen, that has effected millions and you have to appreciate what Iran stands for.
Iran is the only peaceful nation in the region, its people are smarter, better educated and talented than the Arab neighbors. Iran survived International sanctions for 35 years due to its ingenuity. It can survive without the US too.

Some nations never take lesson from their history. Iran suffered a lot over recently removed sanctions .They should be thankful to Obama for the agreement. Since then, Iran is continuing to taunt US and back on its suicidal path. They have yet to realize that Donald Trump is just looking for an excuse to end the Agreement. Iran recently had several agreements with US and European countries, like Boeing, Airbus, etc. They won't take a minute to end them. Please Muslims rulers try to understand: World is run by US and not the other way around.

Oh where ever did you come up with that?
Just last year, Iran Air signed $16.6 Billion order of 80 Boeing Aircarft alone. And there are other companies with over 40-50 billion in deals, with thousands of US jobs dependent on those contracts for the next 5-10 years is not a 'little business'.

@Ths .... You really are delusional. The situation between Russia and the USA have changed. The situation between China and the US has not changed very much. No matter how hard the Chinese military beat their drums the US and China need each other. The relationship between Western Europe and the US will always be a partnership. That is a bond that cannot be broken. Western Europeans fear Russia just as they did in 1938.
